Karoliina and the team are celebrating being the ONLY salon to reach the finals in THREE categories of the National Hairdressers Federation business awards.
The finalists positions recognise the salon’s achievements in every area, as well as specifically recognising the talent of team member Jordy Barlow, who is in the running for Best Apprentice.
Working together to support several local community projects, including Gloucester House rehabilitation centre, helped secure a place in the finals of the Best Community category.
Stylist Georgina Kemnitz-Pryor undertook a sponsored head shave in 2017 and all the team got involved in fundraising by manning a pop up braiding tent and organising other fund raising initiatives. These efforts meant that an amazing £1,600 was raised for Gloucester House!
Offering great support to the community, a superb education/training programme and incredibly talented stylists has also put the salon in the running for Best Independent salon in the UK.
National Hairdressers’ Federation President, Agnes Leonard, said : “What a fantastic achievement for Karoliina Saunders Hair Design to be announced as finalists in three categories.
“We launched our awards last year to recognise the success of some of the best businesses in the hair and beauty industry. We didn’t think the entries could get any better, but this year they have gone from strength-to-strength.”
The finals take place this November in Manchester and you can keep up with our progress via our social media!
